About

It is difficult to name the exact date of the beginning of the volunteer movement in the Jewish cultural center "Emuna". Today, only one thing is known - active volunteering began in December 2000.
From the very beginning of the center, volunteers took an active part in the proposed projects and willingly shared their knowledge and time with those who need it.ждается.

The story of Marina Fruman is a striking example of vast opportunities for career and professional development offered by the Emuna Jewish Cultural Society.

She started to discover the Jewish culture in 2002, when Elena, Marina’s mother, first took her to the Emuna Jewish Cultural Society. She started attending children’s creative studios (drama and vocal, painting and choreography, clay modeling, ceramics, and literature) where she revealed her talents and developed her creative skills. With her mother, she attended the Family Club meetings, celebrated Jewish holidays in Open Houses and in the Jewish Community Center, went to family camps and Shabbatons.

As a student, in fall 2015, Marina started attending the Madrichim School by the Emuna Jewish Cultural Society and became a Youth Club member.

Marina takes an active part in a variety of youth programs, seminars, and projects; she always helps organize and conduct them. She has gained a reputation as an active volunteer: she works with children who attend the Family Club with their parents, plays educational games with children and organizes various fun activities for them in the Jewish Community Center, sometimes she even acts as a photographer. Occasionally, Marina replaces the head of The Story Hour program, gets children involved in educational games and fun activities, and teaches them the fundamentals of the Jewish traditions in an interactive way.

Marina Fruman takes on difficult tasks and successfully accomplishes them thanks to her vast knowledge and skills.

By the way, Marina’s mother, Elena Fruman, is also a striking example of vast opportunities for self-realization within our organization. She started as our beneficiary; and now, she works (and volunteers) at the Emuna Jewish Cultural Society.

Natalia Iosub is in Emuna from her childhood, when she was four years old. She visited children’s creative studios and programs (a vocal, a molding, preparation for school). But she has achieved special achievements in the studio of the painting and in the literary creativity: her works were repeatedly published in the magazines of children’s creativity, organized by Emuna. In 2009 Natasha together with the other talented children had participated in the Republican Creative Camp, organized by Emuna. Together with her parents Natasha repeatedly visited the family camps and participated in  Shabbats, and participated in communal holidays. Natasha Iosub is a striking example of the young leader who has grown up in Emuna and is an illustration of the continuity of children’s and youth programs. The time went on, and children’s studios were replaced by the youth programs. Natasha attended the School of madrikhs, participated in the Shabbatons for young leaders, including the Easter project. Now Natasha is the participant of the AJT projects. Recently she has returned from Boston where she participated in the Annual International Conference 2016 BBYO. Belarus has been presented at such significant forum for the first time.

She is very happy, seeing the burning eyes of the kids on culinary master classes and, being mother, understands how it is important to help children to develop.
